Elmo: Good track, feeling the vibe, needed to be posted. Over & out.

Elmo: I haven’t been a huge fan of Tyga in the past to be honest but with the last two, three tracks my mind changed a bit. I think he has grown as an artist. His flow still isn’t that phenomenal but the rest is on point.
Do it like me and give this guy a chance if you haven’t done so already.

Elmo: Again music is the topic of choice for this post. And again I’m writing about a rapper from the deep down in the south.
A young man born Jason Johnson – known to most under his artist name Camoflauge – died 6 years ago, being shot outside of his record studio. I first heard of him in 2001 and immediately fell in love with his music. His second album “Strictly 4 Da Streets – Drugs, Sex & Violence, Vol. 1″ released the same year and to date is still one of my favorite rap albums.
His raw voice combined with a flow that fits any beat on the album well and the quality of the beats made this album a banger.
In honor to him I decided to write this post and I thought I should share a track with you.
Listen to “Raised in da Ghetto”.

Elmo As you already know I’m a sucker for southern rap. It may be they aren’t lyrical versatile or anything but most of the beats go hard and I just feel the music. Can’t real describe the feeling. So far my love for the Dirty South.
Young Jeezy is one of the bigger artists out of the south and to me his best album to date was his first “Let’s Get it: Thug Motivation 101″. I couldn’t pick a favorite track even If I was asked to but for this post I had to choose one. I decided to go with “Air Forces”. Love the beat, the hook, the flow. Jeezy at his best. “Get it how you live”

Elmo: Random is not your typical rapper. The Philadelphia native, now living in Phoenix, states on his MySpace that he isn’t rich nor a gangster, he’s just a regular dude. Teacher at day and emcee at night.
A very cool and often missed attitude in today’s rap business.
His latest afford is called “Mega Ran 9″. What I really like about this album are the beats. I like the drums, the guitar and everything else. Amazing stuff. The lyrics are on point, too.
My favorite track so far is “Endless”.
It won’t be for everyone but give it a try.

Elmo: Actually I planned to write a longer post today but I just don’t feel like it. Maybe I’ll write a lil’ more in the next couple of days.
To make it short: Check this new but not brand new mixtape by Kid Cudi. It’s definitely worth it.

Elmo: I don’t know about you guys but this song is growing on me. I haven’t listened to the whole album yet but it sounds promising.

Elmo: Asking questions in a post is untypical for this blog but the question I’m posing just popped up in my mind and I decided to make a post.
New York City’s longtime missing son Cam’ron is back with his newest effort “Crime Pays”. After listening to it a few times I still don’t know what to think. Do I like it or don’t I? I simply don’t know. Most of the beats are on point but some of the lyrics are just “nahhhhhhh”. Can you call this a successful comeback?
So what do you think? Let me know.
I might write a short review on the album later.

Elmo: I just had to post this since I’m German and this clip is hilarious. Eminem meets Stefan Raab the man behind TV Total. They freestyle and do a very funny interview.
Crazy stuff. Better check it.
