How would you describe yourself?
Me, myself and I. Naw joking. Other people say that I’m a pretty easy going type of guy. I’d say that I can have fun with almost anybody at anytime anywhere. But when something pisses me off, I’ll definitely speak my mind and let peeps know what’s up. I’m also pretty ambitious and want to be the best that I can be.
Besides that I’ve got a lot of interests. Obviously fashion but also politics, music, art and sports, especially basketball. When something catches my attention I always try to collect as much information as I can about it.
What else … I enjoy hanging out with friends, going to the movies, party sometimes and study other people and their style. That’s all I can think of right now.
How did you come up with the idea of founding The Hunting Club?
The idea of building a fashion brand has been in my head for a long time. I think I can say, that I’ve been involved with fashion for quite a bit. Since my early days I’ve been studying the fashion world and was fascinated by it. Since middle school I was always dressing differently from the other people at school and showed off my personal style. I like to stick out and be unique.
It kind of was a normal process for me, being interested in fashion to dressing differently and at the end to show my personal style through the clothes we’ll be trying to design in the future.
With my partner and best friend Willie P. I found someone who has the same interests and we had been talking about doing something related to fashion. After some time we decided to take a shot at making our own clothing line. We’ll see what the future will bring for us.
What matters to you in life? What are your influences?
Ohh that’s a good question. The first thing that comes to my mind is definitely my family and friends. Without them life would be worthless. I’ve got a really strong relationship with my family, my two best friends Daniel and Willie P., who happens to be the other half of THC. Also my girlfriend is very important to me. She gives me strength and keeps me focused on the important things in life.
Coming to the second part of the question I would say that there are quite a few things that affect me. Being interested in fashion is definitely being one of them. Observing people on the street, reading magazines and blogs. I’m always on the hunt for the new stuff. You see where THC’s coming from (laughs). As far as the fashion goes right now I like the classic look with my favorite colors being black and grey but on the other side flashy colors are always worth a consideration. Besides that and as mentioned above I’m really into music, modern art and sports.
At the end I would say it’s a mix of everything that attracts me. I got no “main” influence or artist where I would say that’s what inspires me all the time.
